  • How does Ms. Blakemore define adolescence? How long does it last? its the period of life where its starts biological and physical changes of puberty and ends at a age of stable independent role in society.
  • What is the significance of the prefrontal cortex? Which section is this on the diagram we viewed yesterday? (See post for 12/2/13)  it stops you from doing things and planning what would you do on a day. Also stoping inappropriate behavior.
  • What is synaptic pruning and what is the significance of the process? its connected with prefrontal cortex the elimination of unwanted synaptic.

  • Explain the design and results of the experiment in which adolescents were compared to adults in seeing things from another person's perspective. Adolescents have a difficult way in seeing  another persons perspective rather then adults.
  • Describe the difference between the limbic system and the prefrontal cortex in teenagers and adults. Adolescents take more risk and are still developing where in adults there are developed
  • Do you see your own adolescence as a problem or an opportunity? Explain. In my opinion  i could say opportunity because since we take some many risk there will be one or more at least that we learn from.
